Volunteer at the CPA

Our volunteers are truly stars!

More than 100 of your friends, neighbors and co-workers serve as ticket takers, ushers for evening and daytime shows, fundraising event planners, hospitality servers for the performers, concession sellers, office workers and the list goes on. The volunteers of the Council for the Performing Arts arrive at the Performing Arts Center before the first ticket is torn. They work diligently behind the scenes to make certain that the upcoming night will be perfect for the thousand men, women and children who will soon occupy the theatre.

Next time you visit the Performing Arts Center, attend one of our performances, or just run into one of these people, take the time to thank them for supporting the arts. It’s no doubt that without them, the show could not go on.
